Description
Metatron’s Cube is a symbol that’s meant to represent the journey of energy throughout the universe, and of balance within the universe. It is made up of all the Platonic Solids, but it also has thirteen circles in it to represent the thirteen archangels (with Metatron’s circle at the center).
Metatron was the greatest of angels in Jewish myths and legends. Predominantly found in mystical Kabbalistic texts, he is variously identified as the Prince (or Angel) of the Presence, as Michael the archangel, or as Enoch after his bodily ascent into heaven.
Platonic Solid: any of the five geometric solids whose faces are all identical, regular polygons meeting at the same three-dimensional angles. Also known as the five regular polyhedra, they consist of the tetrahedron (or pyramid), cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron.
The Flower of Life starts with the Seed of Life shape: 7 overlapping circles that build outward, forming a flower-like pattern that has been used since ancient times in many cultures around the world. Said to be the basic template for everything in existence; all geometric forms can be found within it, including sacred geometry shapes like the Platonic Solids, Metatron’s Cube, and the Merkaba. The Flower of Life symbolizes creation and reminds us of the unity of everything: we’re all built from the same blueprint.
