Description
Larimar Tumbled Stones
Larimar is a form of Pectolite (a sodium calcium silicate mineral) and has a Triclinic crystal system. It’s coloring is blue, bluish-white, white, and also contains areas of gray. It has formed in cavities within basaltic lava and can sometimes contain vivid red-brown hematite inclusions.
Larimar is also known by other trade names such as the Dolphin Stone, Blue Pectolite, Atlantis Stone, and Stefilia’s Stone. It is named after its discovery location in the Filipinas Larimar Mine, Los Checheses, Sierra de Baoruco, Barahona Province, Dominican Republic. It can also be found in areas of the U.S., Italy and England but does not bear the trade name of Larimar, but its true name of Blue Pectrolite.
Larimar aids in opening up our throat chakra and helps to promote our self-confidence. It will also encourage us to express our deepest truths and fears and is extremely helpful in disolving any self-imposed blocks and self-sabotaging behavior we may be having an inner battle with.
While primarily used at the 5th (Throat) Chakra, it is also a great benefit at the 4th (Heart) Chakra by embracing love and joy, and for opening up the heart. At the 6th (Third Eye) Chakra it can aid you in contacting angels or to connect with the Goddess.  And finally, at the 7th (Crown) Chakra it helps us find creative ways to accomplish our soul purpose in this incarnation as it encourages spiritual connection.
